Peace Is A Weapon As You Stand For Marriage Restoration
Peace Is A Weapon As You Stand For Marriage Restoration “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.” - Romans 16:20 (ESV) In the midst of the battles for your marriage, it may seem counterintuitive to consider peace as a supernatural weapon. However, Romans 16:20 assures us that “the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.” This verse reveals that peace is not just a passive state of tranquility but a supernatural weapon in the spiritual realm that we must use as we stand against the spirit of divorce. You can see several times in the scriptures that God says peace is a part of our weaponry. In Ephesians 6:15, we are told that our feet should be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace as part of the armor of God. According to the scriptures, our feet must be firmly encompassed in peace. When the enemy seeks to sow strife, division and discord in your marriage, you have the power to step on the devil’s neck by standing in peace. Peace becomes our stance of resistance against the schemes of the enemy. It is a declaration that we refuse to be swayed by chaos and turmoil and we choose to trust in the God of peace to bring restoration. Your peace is a supernatural act of WAR! It’s important to realize that peace in the midst of standing for your marriage is not based on your circumstances but on your trust in God’s faithfulness and in His ability to bring healing and reconciliation. You can stand in this peace by having a deep assurance that God is in control and working behind the scenes. When you choose peace, you allow the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, to rule and reign in your heart and marriage. This supernatural peace guards your heart and mind, protecting you from the enemy’s attempts to instill fear, doubt and anxiety. It positions you to hear God’s voice and respond to your spouse with love, grace and wisdom. And yes, it releases a supernatural glory-bomb in the spirit realm where the real battle ensues. In a practical sense, peace also enables you to create an environment conducive to healing and restoration. As you stand in peace, you embody the essence of spiritual resilience. This resilience is not just for your benefit but also becomes a beacon of hope and stability for your spouse. In a situation where tensions and emotions run high, your peaceful demeanor can have a calming effect, opening doors for constructive communication and gradual healing. Furthermore, peace equips you to approach the challenges in your marriage with a clear mind and a compassionate heart. It enables you to listen actively, to empathize and to respond well. In this state of peace, you become more attuned to the Holy Spirit’s guidance, more receptive to divine insights and more capable of exhibiting Christ-like love and patience. Your perspective on peace is a powerful witness to others around you. It testifies to the transforming power of faith and the reality of God’s grace in your life. As others observe your situation, your peace amidst this storm will be a tool for glorifying God, drawing others to the hope and truth found in Christ. In the chaos that can surround your troubled marriage, peace stands as a bold declaration of trust in God’s sovereignty. It’s an affirmation that despite the raging battles, you are grounded in the assurance of God’s presence and His power to restore. This peace is not a sign of weakness or resignation; it’s a testament to your strength and faith in God’s plan for your marriage. So remember that peace is a powerful weapon that disarms the enemy and paves the way for God’s victory to manifest in your marriage. So stand firm in peace, trusting that the God of peace is crushing satan and all his pathetic demons under your feet as you stand for your marriage!
