Don't Wait on a Word for Your Miracle!
Don't Wait on a Word for Your Miracle! "Pressing in through the crowd, she came up behind Jesus and touched the tassel of his prayer shawl. Instantly her bleeding stopped and she was healed." - Luke 8:44 (TPT) One of the most asked questions I hear from someone struggling to have faith in their marriage restoration is, "What if I haven't received a specific 'word' or 'promise' from God that He will heal my marriage?" Most standers want to hear specifically that God is restoring their own marriage. I completely understand that, and I absolutely believe that God speaks to us and encourages us with His plans. But what if you haven't gotten a "word" from God about your marriage? Will He still restore it? Is it not His will because He hasn't specifically told you it is? If you ever feel God has been silent in His plan for your marriage, I need you to turn to the incredible story of the woman who reached out to touch the hem of Jesus' garment for her divine healing. (Luke 8:44-46, TPT) Imagine this woman's situation. She had been suffering for twelve long years, plagued by a relentless issue of blood. Her condition left her isolated, physically drained, and emotionally spent. In her culture, she was considered unclean, which meant she couldn't participate in normal social or religious activities. She was desperate for healing. What's remarkable is that this woman didn't have a divine word or promise from Heaven that she would be healed. She hadn't received any personal prophetic word, no dream from Heaven, and definitely no direct word from Jesus. Yet, she chose to act out of her own desperation, out of her own faith in what Jesus could do, and her belief in the power He possessed. She made a bold decision: she would push aside all opposition and obstacles and reach out and touch the fringe of His garment. Notice something crucial here: Jesus didn't even pray for her before she was healed. He didn't speak a specific word of healing over her. Instead, as she touched His garment, Jesus felt power leave Him. He felt His divine energy flow into the woman, instantly healing her. Amazing! It was her faith that pulled down the source of her healing. This story holds a powerful message for us as we stand for the restoration of our marriages. Sometimes, we may long for a prophetic word or a personalized promise from God, but it is not needed! Don't get me wrong, I completely embrace and believe in prophetic ministry, but we must believe in the power of who Jesus is, what He possesses, and how we have access to it! Don't let the absence of a specific word or promise deter you from reaching out in faith to Jesus. Just like the woman with the issue of blood you can receive a supernatural breakthrough in choosing to reach out and touch the goodness of our Savior. We simply choose to believe that Jesus has the authority to heal marriages, even if we haven't received a direct word about our own. Your faith moves God, especially when we have to press in and overcome opposition. He desires our hearts to be anchored in trust, even when we can't see the entire path ahead. The woman in the story pressed through the crowd, enduring challenges and fears, just to touch the hem of Jesus' garment. Her faith in His power made her whole. Similarly, know that your faith can bring the restoration of your marriage. You don't need a special word or promise to start believing in God's ability to heal and redeem your relationship. Your faith-filled actions can be the catalyst for your miracle. So, in this season of standing for your marriage miracle, don't be discouraged if you haven't received a specific "word." Instead, be encouraged by the faith of the woman who was desperate enough to reach out and touch Jesus. Trust that your faith in His power, love, and restoration can move mountains, heal brokenness, and bring about miracles in your marriage. Remember, sometimes it's not about waiting for a word; it's about reaching out to the Word made flesh. His name is Jesus the Healer. Pull down His power and grace over your marriage. Your miracle is within hand's reach. According to the scripture, it absolutely is! Mark 1:5 says, "The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!" The power of the Kingdom of God is close enough to touch. The question is, will you have enough faith to reach out and touch it? Are you confident enough in the goodness of God to reach past the surrounding obstacles? Or are you sitting back and waiting on a "word" that Jesus' power will fall on your marriage before you stand and truly believe it? Are you willing to break all protocol and pull the healing touch of Jesus into your marriage? I pray you take this Biblical example of this exemplary woman and pull your marriage miracle down! Jesus is that good, and He carries that amount of power. Stop waiting on a "word" or a "promise," and allow your faith to reach out and touch Him! I believe you will experience His power, and you and your spouse will be healed!
