While We Are Waiting on God, We Are Waiting With God — God Is There the Whole Time
While We Are Waiting on God, We Are Waiting With God — God Is There the Whole Time I know firsthand that when you are standing for marriage restoration, waiting can feel lonely and never-ending. You pray, you believe, and then you wonder where God is when everything feels quiet. During Advent, let’s be reminded of a powerful truth: while we are waiting on God, we are also waiting with Him. He has not left you in the waiting. God is right there with you; He is close to your heart, seeing every tear and actually strengthening you in ways you might not always feel. God’s presence does not vanish just because the promise feels delayed. Just as God was faithful through generations of waiting for the Messiah, He is faithful with you right now as you wait for what He has spoken over your marriage. This waiting is not wasted. It is holy ground. It is a place where God deepens your faith, steadies your hope, and reshapes your love to resemble Jesus more closely. So when your spouse feels far away, and your prayers feel unanswered, remember that Emmanuel means God with us. You are not waiting alone. The same God who brought Jesus at the appointed time is the same God who knows exactly when and how to bring your breakthrough. Every day you wait is a day when God is working in you and in your spouse, even when you cannot yet see the movement. So, as you are standing for your marriage to be restored, let your waiting become worship. Let your trust become an offering. Let your heart rest in this truth: God is not only working for you, but He is also with you. His presence is your peace. His love is your anchor. His timing will prove perfect.
