Week 1 of Advent - God Works While We Wait
Week 1 of Advent - God Works While We Wait As we begin Advent, lets discuss how waiting can feel like the hardest part of standing for your marriage restoration. The silence, the distance, and the uncertainty test every ounce of your faith. Yet Advent reminds us that waiting is not wasted time. It’s holy ground where God refines your heart, renews your hope, and prepares the miracle He has promised. Galatians 4:4 tells us that “when the set time had fully come, God sent His Son.” God was not late. He was not slow. He was perfectly on time. And He is perfectly on time in your life, too. While you may not see it yet, God is working behind the scenes, softening hearts, healing wounds, and orchestrating divine timing for restoration. In this Advent season, we learn that God’s greatest miracles are often hidden in the waiting. Lamentations 3:26 reminds us, “It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.” Quiet waiting is not passive, it’s full of trust and expectation that God is still moving, even when we cannot see Him. This week, let your heart rest in that truth. As you continue to pray for your spouse, believe that your waiting is not in vain. The same God who fulfilled His promise through the birth of Jesus will fulfill His promise of restoration in your life.
