Jesus Is The Foundation for All Restorations Main Scripture: “For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 3:11 (ESV) I know firsthand how standing for the restoration of your marriage feels like watching the very thing you love most crumble all around you. It’s like you are watching the very floor underneath you crack into a million pieces of instability. But allow me to remind you of this incredible truth: In the middle of it all, there is an unshakable truth we must remind ourselves: Jesus Christ is the foundation for all restorations! He is the Rock that has been laid before you to stand on. He is what your new marriage will be established and built on. I believe that before your marriage can be rebuilt, God wants to ensure that you are rebuilt upon Jesus. Most standers focus their prayers on their spouse returning home, but Jesus’ first desire is to bring you home to Him. He is not only the Restorer of marriages; He is the Redeemer of everything, and today I want you to trust that His work in you is actually laying the groundwork for the miracle you’re believing for. The amazing thing is this: Jesus doesn’t want to repair what’s broken; He desires to make all things new! Yes, this process may be painful, but it’s also purposeful. Every trial you face is strengthening your foundation and teaching you to stand on Christ’s promises rather than just your feelings. If your relationship with Jesus has drifted or if you’ve never fully surrendered your life to Him, this is your moment. Your marriage restoration begins with your salvation, inviting Jesus to be the Lord of your life even before your marriage. He’s not asking you to have perfect faith, but He is asking you to stand on His Perfect Foundation. So, with all respect to your spouse, it doesn’t really matter what they are doing or saying, and no matter how bad the situation looks, your story is not over. God is not limited by what the enemy is doing; He is actively building something brand new even in the middle of chaos. What is He building? Your new life heart to love your spouse like never before! So today, as you draw closer to Jesus, I believe peace will replace all that panic and allow His strength to replace all your sorrow. Will you let Him rebuild every part of your heart? This week, declare boldly that Jesus is your foundation. Let His truth shape your thoughts and His love steady your emotions. When your stand feels weak, go back to the Rock. He will never move. What He’s building in your marriage is meant to last forever.
