Inviting God into Your Unbelief as You Stand For Your Marriage When you stand for your marriage to be restored, it can be hard to keep your faith strong when you're standing for your marriage to be restored, especially when you've prayed and hoped for so long. In Mark 9:24, a father who had brought his demon-possessed son to Jesus for healing cried out, "I believe; help my unbelief!" This is a very relatable statement that can apply to many standers situation where they need to strengthen their faith and trust in God. Like the father in the story, we may have moments of doubt and unbelief about God's ability to restore our marriage. The enemy may whisper lies into our minds, telling us that our situation is hopeless, that we've been praying for too long, and that it's time to give up. But we must remember that God is always faithful and that He is working all things together for our good. The key to overcoming unbelief is to invite God into it. We need to acknowledge our doubts and fears and bring them to God in prayer. It's okay to tell Him that we're struggling to believe that He can restore our marriage. He already knows our hearts, and He wants us to be honest with Him. When we invite God into our unbelief, we're showing Him that we trust Him enough to be vulnerable with Him. When we invite God into our unbelief, we're also allowing Him to work in us. God wants to strengthen our faith and give us the courage to keep standing for our marriage. He wants to help us overcome the lies of the enemy and fill us with His truth. He wants to give us the hope that we need to keep believing that He is able to restore our marriage. As you stand for your marriage to be restored, I encourage you to invite God into your unbelief. Tell Him that you're struggling to believe and ask Him to help you overcome your doubts and fears. Remember that God is always faithful, and He is working all things together for your good. He is with you in your pain and wants to help you through this difficult time. Keep trusting Him, keep praying, and keep standing for your marriage. God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). In conclusion, trust Him fully and confess any doubts or fears that you may have about God restoring your marriage. With God's help, you can overcome your unbelief and trust Him fully. So confess any unbelief you are battling today, and simply ask God to “help my unbelief” and then choose to trust that God is both bigger than you and bigger than what you currently see.
